APPLICATION: To ensure optimum adhesion, Step 1 requires you to thoroughly clean the sole of your shoe. It is important to remove all dirt, debris, oil, and moisture from all areas of the sole before proceeding. In Step 2, trace and outline your shoe's sole onto the protector using a ballpoint pen or pencil. Next, in Step 3, carefully cut along the inside of the traced outline, creating a cutout that is slightly smaller than the outline to ensure an accurate fit. In Step 4, peel off the backing to expose the adhesive side. Carefully align the cutout with the sole of your shoe and firmly press it into place with your fingers in Step 5. Apply firm pressure across the shoe sole, working from top to bottom to eliminate any air bubbles.

PRO TIPS:

1 It is recommended to trace your shoe sole on a single piece of paper and practice cutting along the inside portion of the outline using scissors, an exacto knife, or a utility blade.

2 Use a mild cleaning solution and a nylon brush to thoroughly clean the sole, ensuring all grooves are cleaned. Rinse with warm water to remove any residue.

3 Dry the sole using a clean cloth or a hair dryer. Once the sole is completely dry, wipe down the surface with rubbing alcohol using a clean, lint-free cloth.

4 The best temperature for applying the product is indoors, at a temperature above 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

5 To maximize bonding, gently warm the sole with a hair dryer while applying the product.

6 Quickly roll out any air bubbles using a firm cylindrical object such as a pen or a pipe.

7 Wait a few hours before wearing your newly protected shoes.

8 SoleShieldz's SSP should be replaced regularly to maintain proper protection.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: SoleShieldz's SSP is specifically designed for use on smooth-bottom shoes. It is not recommended for use on boots, sandals, slides, slippers, running shoes, cross-training shoes, tennis shoes, cleats, hiking shoes, or any footwear with aggressive, uneven, or deep tread patterns.
