Application Instructions: 1. Trace each sole bottom on the back of the 3M liner, ensuring that the 3M logo faces up. (Place the toe as close to the front edge of the protector as possible to maximize coverage area.) Tip: Use a small piece of tape to hold the Sole Protector in place while tracing. 2. Carefully cut out the traced area. As a precaution, cut slightly wider than your traced area. If you cut too wide, you can trim it down later. 3. Our Sole Protector is designed for use on a smooth, unworn sole. Make sure your sole is clean before applying. Tip: For best results, lightly dampen your shoe soles with a spray bottle before application. 4. Align your cut-out with your shoe sole. Starting at the tip of the toe, peel the liner while applying the Sole Protector. Massage out any air bubbles as you apply the liner. The water applied in Step 3 will aid in application and eliminate air bubbles. Tip: Use a credit card to smooth out the surface and remove any remaining air bubbles. 5. Allow the Sole Protector to settle overnight.
